Aquatica is a longstanding advocate of Special Olympics Florida, dedicated to helping the organization and its incredible athletes through volunteer, fundraising and event efforts.
As host of our annual Polar Plunge Orlando, the park has helped raised
over $2 million to support our athletes, in the last 15 years. SeaWorld
Cares also forms a Polar Plunge team each year, filled with SeaWorld
employees who come out and take the plunge to help our athletes.
In 2019, the company was recognized for its incredible work with the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Award for Florida. Named after the founder of Special Olympics, the award is reserved for those individuals or groups who go above and beyond in their support of Special Olympics Florida athletes and dedication to inclusion.
